Funeral services for Walter S. Sikora Sr., were held Thursday, November 1st, from the Patka Funeral Home, 4358 S. Richmond. Interment took place at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Sikora, a former long-time resident of the Back Of The Yards area, died Sunday, October 28th. He was 68. A veteran of World War 2, Mr. Sikora was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Sikora was the husband of Helen (nee Trzeciak); the father of Dorothy Centano and Walter Jr; the grandfather of Thomas, the late Anthony and John Centano; the Great-Grandfather of five; the brother of Louise Langbauer, Sylvia Pajewski, Janet Sikora, Mary Dubinski, Laura Witkowski, and the late Florence Stanko; and the uncle of many.
