Emma Pauline (Greve) Alexander passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on September 2, 2001 after an extended illness.

She was born to John and Anna Danner on November 9, 1919 in Arlington, WA. The ninth child born, she was preceded in death by sisters Ragna Garrett, Alma Olson, Clara Engstrom, Ella Dawson and brothers Ernie Danner, Cliff Danner, Clarence Danner and Ted Danner. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was married to Henry Greve on September 14, 1937 in Klamath Falls, OR. They were happily married for 52 years and spent most of these years living in the Arlington and Everett areas. She was preceded in death by Henry in 1990, daughter Janice Carlson in 1997 and a granddaughter in 1972.

She is survived by daughter Jerri Wirt (Bob); six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

On November 9, 1991 she married Stuart Alexander at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Monroe, WA. They have resided in the Everett area where friends and neighbors have offered support and friendship during Emma's extended illness.

She is survived by her loving husband and his family, daughters Kathy Sanders, Linda Doran (Bob), sons Gary Alexander, Bob Miller and their children.

There will be a visitation at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 from 2-7pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 6th at 11am at Cypress Lawn with a memorial service following at 1pm on Thursday at Central Lutheran Church in Everett.
