A heart attack proved fatal to Charles R. Miltenberger at 9 a.m. yesterday at his home, 19 15th St., East Catasauqua. He was 61 years old.
Born in Moore township, Northampton county, he was the son of Harrison and Amanda, nee Hauser, Miltenberger. He resided in Catasauqua for 40 years, the last 16 at the 15th St. address. He was a driver for the Davis-Thomas Iron Co. until his retirement two years ago. Mr. Miltenberger was a member of the Shoenersville Lutheran church and the East End Fire Co. His wife, Laura A., nee Rickenbach, died eight years ago. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Howard Halteman of Bethlehem.
Rev H. T. Sell will officiate at short services at his late home at 9:30 a.m. Monday, continued in Shoenersville church. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
