John 14:1-2 "Let not your heart be troubled;ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Fathers house are many mansions; If it were not so, I would have told you.I go to prepare a place for you."Our beloved, Luz Celeste Rivera-Oropeza entered this world January 19, 1960, the daughter of Candida Oropeza and Felix Rivera. She went home to be with the Lord on a beautiful winter day, November 20, 2009. She was educated in the Carolina, Puerto Rico school system and was affectionately known as "Tatita" by her family and friends. Luz was a elegant homemaker that was caring to her family. She was always devoted to her family and friends and would give you her last dollar. She was also an outgoing person who lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed cooking; especially her rice, beans and biste. Luz loved to decorate her home with curtains and the inventions that she loved to create. Her thirst for the Lord never died because she always had Him in her heart. Our beloved Luz leaves to cherish her loving memories to her husband, Eduardo Solis; four devoted daughters, Barbara Solis Rivera, Neshka Jaretcie Solis Rivera (Joseph R. Williams Jr.), Ashbairy Nahiry Solis Rivera and Tiana Lois Rodriguez and her father Luis Rodriguez; two stepchildren, Leon Fields Jr. and Shonta Fields; three grandchildren, Teivante Jerel Brown Solis, George Patrick Brown Jr. and Janessa Anais Gomez Solis; loving parents, Candida Oropeza and Felix Rivera; grandparents, Teresa Rivera and Candido Oropeza; siblings, Carmen Seoanes, Richard Thompson (Mercedes), Jorge Thompson, Victor Thompson (Ercilia) , Edna Thompson, Armanda Saavedra, Marta Rivera, Efren Rivera, Ramon Rivera, Edgardo Rivera, Orlando Rivera (Dianne C.) and Candida Rodriguez-Walker (Garland), a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; one especially devoted Randolph Billie. She'll be truly missed and never forgotten.
