Funeral services for Tomas Ernest Kulka, 43, of Rowlett, Texas, former Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, resident, will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, May 15, 2003, in the Sowers Memorial chapel of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Tomas Ernest Kulka was born October 30, 1959, in Oklahoma City, the son of Ernest F. and Barbara (Givens) Kulka. He died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, while on a business trip in Bracknell, Berkshire, U.K.. Mr Kulka had worked for Lucent Technology and currently for Tyco Power Systems of Mesquite, Texas, as an engineer. He was a highly regarded engineer whose work took him to many countries.
Thomas grew up in Bethany, Oklahoma, and graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1977. He attended Oklahoma State University, where he received an Engineering degree and in 1987, a Masters degree in math.
He had lived in Texas since 1990. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Arnost and Francis Kulka and Thelma Givens.
Survivors include his parents of Bethany, Oklahoma, 1 brother & his wife, Terry and Christy Kulka of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 2 nephews and 1 niece, Jeremy, Travis, and McKenzie Kulka, all of Tulsa.
Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle.
