William Carnley Dies Saturday
William Douglas Carnley, 44, a resident of Morgan City, died early Saturday morning, October 25, at Lakewood Hospital after a lengthy Illness. He was a native of Atmore, Ala., and a mechanic for McDermott, Inc. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War In the U.S.MarInes. The body was sent to Atmore Monday morning for funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Robert's Catholic Church. Burial is to be at Oak Hill Cemetery. McCleary's Funeral Home was In charge of local arrangements, Carnley Is survived by his wife, Mrs, Betty Carnley, Morgan City; father, Sidney Carnley, Atmore; three sons, William D.Cam-ley Jr., Ft. Polk, Mike Carnley, Morgan City and Ronnie Carnley, Gardena, Calif.; two daughters, Susan Carnley, Morgan City, and Mrs. Linda Heath, Gardena; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Boustany, Lafayette, Mrs. Pauline McGlothem, Atmore, and Mrs. Bemlce Gigalano, New Orleans.
