DUMONT - Funeral service for John Struthoff, who died Tuesday at Hampton hospital, will be Friday afternoon in the Evangelical Church here.
Mr. Struthoff, who was 54 years old, was a farmer four miles west of town on Highway 10. He had been afflicted with diabetes for more than ten years.
He was born in Germany on July 6, 1879. When he was five years old he came with his parents to the United States, settling near Ackley. His marriage to Miss Kathryn Brass took place Feb. 6, 1892.
Survivors are the widow; two daughters: Mrs. Harm Tjabing and Mrs. Harold Handorf; and two sons: Harold Struthoff, all of Dumont, and an adopted son, Delbert Struthoff of Dumont; four brothers: Dick and Henry Struthoff of Geneva; Henry and William Struthoff of Ackley.
