Keith Loeffler, 60, of Allendale, died Friday, December 18, 1998, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel with Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ingram Funeral Home in Allendale. Burial will be in the Allendale Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Mr. Loeffler was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Orio, the son of Dayton and Joan Lamper Loeffler.

He was a petroleum engineer. He graduated from the Missouri School of Mines in Rolla in 1960. He was a member of the town board, Ruritan Club and Elks Club. Mr. Loeffler was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel where he taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. He was chairman of the board at First National Bank in Allendale and Mt. Carmel and owner and operator of Loeffler Oil Co. in Allendale.

He is survived by his wife, Jo, of Allendale; two daughters, Tama Grounds and her husband, Tim, of Allendale and Lindsay Rutherford and her husband, Richard, of Vincennes; two sons, Bryan Loeffler and his wife, Michelle, of Allendale and Rodney Loeffler of Allendale; four grandchildren, Kelsey Loeffler, Madisyn Grounds, Maggie Rutherford and Becca Rutherford; and one sister, Barbara McCleskey of Midland, Tx.
