On November 27, 1968 Mary Alice married the love of her life; the late Rev. Robert Dale Reece; and moved all the way out to San Bernardino, CA to begin her new life as newlywed putting down roots in her new home church pastored by Reverend Howard H. Davis. Together Robert and Mary built and nurtured a beautiful lifelong marriage, their family and a lasting legacy of ministry. It was in 1974 that Mary Alice faithfully and sacrificially served alongside her husband as they began the founding years of labor to establish the Downtown Apostolic Church in San Bernardino, CA. She lovingly served within her role as a pastor's wife to help her husband lead the congregation in growth and progress until her husband's retirement in the year of 1999.
Mary Alice Reece is immediately survived by two children, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister.

Mary Alice Reece was preceded in death by her Husband Reverend Robert D. Reece; her Brother Merle Ash; and her Sister Margret Peacock.
Mary Alice Reece was taken to be forever with our Dear Lord Jesus on Saturday, August 20, 2011 after a brave journey involving Alzheimer's disease. She peacefully passed in her sleep at her son's home from this life to be with the Lord at 76 years, 8 months and 20 days old.
