Marie (Mary)Cathryn Vogel Stroh Lebsack
was the daughter of Henry Peter Vogel. She was born August 11, 1866 in Brunnenthal Samara Russia, along the Volga River. On August 30th at the age of 70 years and 19 days she passed away.

At the age of 18 she married Jacob Stroh and in December of 1891 they came through Ellis Island to America and settled in Culbertson Nebraska. Having moved to Loveland around 1900 Mr Stroh died on Mar 8 1908 and soon after Mrs. Stroh married Jacob J. Lebsack of Otis Kansas. They had two children both males one of which died in infancy. Upon moving to Loveland Mrs. Lebsack joined the Loveland Evangelical Church.

The family was a large blended loving group of Stroh and Lebsack and Marie loved all of them as her own and her obituary has a large listing of all the family members. She leaves a sister Anna Catherine Vogel Nagel of record. Mrs. Lebsack was a devoted companion, loving and godly mother who loved everyone.

Note: Many of the Nagel family who came through Ellis Island came to the Lebsack farm to rest from their journey and then moved on to their new homes in America.
