"Dr. Roger Ray Loose, 64, of Perkinston died September 3, 2011 at his residence. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist, a Vietnam Army Veteran and a Optometrist. He owned and operator the Vision Center in Wiggins for 31 years and owned and operator the Vision Center in Lucedale for 29 years. He graduated 1967 from Professional Business Institute in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He survived by his wife Janet Thelen Loose of Perkinston, MS, his son, Dr. Gregory and his wife Tana (Myers) Loose of Perkinston, MS, his daughter, Brenda (Loose) Hope of Jackson, MS, his five grandhildren; Raigen, Brennen, Samuel, Jeffery and Christian Loose all of Perkinston, MS, his father, Carl Loose of Underwood, SD, his brother, Loren Loose of Underwood, SD, his two sisters; Linda (Loose) Brown of Hyannis, NB and Mary Kay (Loose) Stanton of Hyannis, NB and numerous of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Gulf Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church, with to follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Monday, September 5, 2011 at Moore Funeral Home. Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
