Alma Virginia Wittkopf, 93, of Gardner, KS passed away March 10, 2014 at Vintage Park at Gardner. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Friday, March 14, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Gardner, 138 E Shawnee, Gardner, KS 66030. Burial follows at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe, KS. Visitation 6-8:00 pm Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S Center, Gardner, KS 66030 (913) 856-7111. Alma was born September 15, 1920 in Quincy, IL to Milo and Elsie (Meyer) Bliven. She married Frank J. Wittkopf on June 22, 1940 in Palmyra, MO. Alma lived in Gardner for the last 51 years, prior to that she lived in Hannibal, MO. She worked for the Gardner School District at Nike Intermediate, in food service, retiring in the mid 1990s. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gardner. Alma always cherished spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank, in 1988 and brothers, Junior, Robert and Chet Bliven.
