Kristin Ray "Kris" Blevins, age 41, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday evening, September 4, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center Facility in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was born June 26, 1970, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of Danny and Janis James Blevins of Green Cove Springs, Florida.
In addition to his parents, Kris is survived by his wife of ten years, Debra Fricke Blevins; one daughter, Courtney Blevins of Olive Hill, Kentucky; his brother, Scot Allen Blevins of Ashland, Kentucky; and one very special nephew, Justin Allen Blevins of Green Cove Springs, Florida. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Matt McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011, and until the service hour on Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
