Doerflinger, Robert L., 76, retired Butler County Highway Department shop foreman, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1993. Service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors: wife, Evelyn; sons, Elver of Sapulpa, Okla., Ricky Sammons of Huntsville, Ala.; daughter, Carol Freeman of Weatherford, Texas; stepson, Ivan Ratley of Wichita; sisters, Opal Ratley, Tiny Pons, both of Burley, Idaho; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with Kansas State University Center for Basic Cancer Research. Carlson Funeral Home.
