Chaffee - Herbert P. Enderle, 59 years old, of Chaffee, died this morning at the Chaffee General Hospital.
He was born May 16, 1915, at Kelso. On Feb. 19, 1946, he married the former Miss Clara C. Glueck.
He was a farmer, a veteran of World War II having served with the Army First Calvary Division in the Pacific.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Parish and the St. Ambrose Men's Club. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3127 here and the Knights of Columbus, Oran Council 4311.
Surviving is his wife; son, Richard Enderle; daughters, Mrs. Larry Mott, Mrs. Larry Whaley and Miss Betty Enderle; sisters, Miss Clara Enderle, Miss Lucille Enderle, Mrs. Fred Eichman and Mrs. Virgil Suvers; and three grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here. where there will also be a Knights of Columbus prayer service.
Funeral service will be Saturday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial, with graveside rights by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, will be in the church cemetery.
