Brandon James Marquez, 19, a life long resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 29, 2011. Brandon is survived by his loving parents, James and Lorraine Marquez; brother, Tyler Marquez; grandparents, Jesus and Nettie Gutierrez, and Eloy (Pa) Marquez; his aunts and uncles, Frank and JoAnne Lucero, Michael (Porky) Patino, Denny and Ron Delle Donne, and Michael Marquez; cousins, Matthew, Frankie, Amanda and Lawrence.

Brandon graduated from Volcano Vista High School, Class of 2010, and was attending UTI in Avondale, AZ, to become a diesel mechanic. He had a passion for cars, not only to work on them but to drive them, he loved to hunt, fish, and camp with family and friends. Brandon's love for music, drawing, and making jokes are only a few things that made him so special, but his smile was unforgettable and would brighten up everyone's day; and his sense of humor and his kind heart made Brandon who he was.
