She Immigrated with her mother "Emilie Freidicksdorf" and older brother Otto when she was a baby on the ship Moravia in May of 1888 from Russian to New York. Her father Louis had immigrated to America earlier.
Anna's mother Amelia was committed to an insane asylum by her husband Louis soon after arriving in America and giving birth to her youngest child August in 1889.
Anna "Frederiksderff" married John Schmidt (Smith) in Shenandoah, Schuylkill Co., PA in Jan of 1903.
Anna had 3 daughters and 2 sons, Emma, Bertha, Dorothy, Frederick and John
