Mrs Anna H Nagel, 73, of 1521 Tilden Ave, was dead on arrival at 7:30 pm yesterday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Walter H Nagel, who retired after many years as chief probation officer for Allen County.
Mrs Nagel was a native of Chicago, but resided in Fort Wayne since 1925. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Edgar A and Walter F Jr both of Fort Wayne, and Robert H Downers Grove, Ill; a daughter, Mrs Dorothy Hanson, Minneapolis; three brothers, Otto Nagel, Park Ridge, Ill, Edward Nagel, Arlington Heights, Ill, and William Nagel, Lombard, Ill; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 pm Tuesday in DO McComb & Sons Funeral Home, Rev Walter Schoedel officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Monday. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - December 19, 1965
