Darrell L. Dumler
Milberger - Darrell L. Dumler, 37, died Sunday, June 23, 1991, at Asbury Hospital in Salina.
He was born Nov. 17, 1953, at Hoisington, the son of Victor L. and Viola R. (Niedens) Dumler.
He graduated from Russell High School and attended vo-tech school at Beloit. A life time resident of the Milberger area, he was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of United Emmanuel Lutheran Church, of Milberger, and was a board member of the Farm Bureau and treasurer of the Future Farmers of America Alumni Association, both in Russell County.
Survivors include his parents, of Russell; and two siters, Donna Kay Bitter, Garden City; and Wanda Faye Radke, of Salina.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at United Emannuel Lutheran Church in Milberger, with the Rev. Carl Dietz presiding. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Pohlman's Mortuary in Russell.
Burial will be in the Milberger Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the church or to the charity of the donor's choice, both in care of the funeral home.

Darrell Leroy Dumler, son of Victor Leroy and Viola Rosetta (Neidens) Dumler, was born November 17, 1953 at Hoisington, Kansas. His death occurred June 23, 1991, at Asbury Salina Regional Medical Center at the age of 37 years 7 months and 5 days.
Darrell lived all his life in the Milberger area, he received his basic education in the local schools, graduated from Russell High School with the class of 1972 and for a short time attended Vocational Technical School at Beloit, Kansas.
His life was filled with his love and devotion to farming. He helped with the family wheat farming as well as their livestock operation. This year was the first year he was unable to help with harvest since he was a young boy. He derived a great deal of satisfaction in seeing his farm work mature and watch the harvesting of the wheat. He spent many hours operating the tractor and the other farm machinery.
Darrell was a member of United Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Milberger. He was baptized on December 6, 1953 and later confirmed on April 7, 1968 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Milberger. Darrell was a member of the Farm Bureau, serving on the Board of Directors and also was treasurer of the FFA Alumni Association.
Survivors are his parents, Victor and Viola Dumler of the Milberger community; sisters, Donna Kay Bitter of Garden City and Wanda Fay Radke of Salina, one niece, 4 nephews, several other relatives and a host of friends.
