Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The Rev. Dorothy Reed will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, May 31, at the funeral home. Mrs. Brokes was born March 21, 1964, in Hannibal to Otis Sr. and Odessa Haynes Gauch. She was married to John Brokes III on Oct. 17, 1980, in Hannibal. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Odessa Gauch of Hannibal; her grandmother, Dorothy Haynes of Hannibal; one son, John Brokes IV of Hannibal; one daughter, Crystal Brokes of Hannibal; an expectant granddaughter, Makayla Ryanne Hays Brokes; three brothers, Otis Gauch Jr., Billy Gauch and Rocky Gauch, all of Hannibal; five sisters, Shelia Todd, Bonnie Robertson, Angel Swartz and Becky Gauch, all of Hannibal, and Odessa Gibbons of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Gauch Sr.; her father-in-law, John Brokes II; her mother-in-law, Roberta Anderson; her grandparents, Frances Gauch, George Gauch and Curtis Haynes; and one brother, Bucky Wayne Gauch. Mrs. Brokes worked as a machine operator at Pace Industries and also worked at Pick-A-Dilly Convenience Store. Pallbearers will be Otis Gauch II, Billy Gauch, Rocky Gauch, Otis Gauch III, Tom Brokes, Shawn Gauch, Rick Brokes and Bill Brokes
