Jacob Lynn Foster died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011. He was 27.

Mr. Foster was born in Port Gibson and lived most of his life in Vicksburg, where he attended Beechwood Elementary and Warren Central High School.

He was employed by Weld-Tech Fabrications and was a fisherman. He was a member of the Vicksburg Dart Association and Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Staci Lynn Foster of Vicksburg; his father, Joe Foster of Vicksburg; his mother and stepfather, Ricci Lynn Webb-Creger and Chad Creger of Woodstock, Ala.; a brother, Joey Foster of Vicksburg; a sister, Jenna Elizabeth Foster-Granger of Misawa Air Force Base, Japan; and his paternal grandmother, Betty Foster of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson from noon Tuesday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Joey Foster, Drew Marshall, Jeff Caruthers, Steve Prewitt, Anthony LaGrone, Jamie Parker, Shelton Raner, Chad Creger and Jamie Stevens.
