Mr. Westerling served in the U.S. Army in World War I. He was also a retired superintendent of the Wilton Riding Club. His memberships include James B. Whipple Post, American Legion of Wilton, and Ark Lodge No. 39 AF & AM of Georgetown.
Mr. Westerling is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Balis of Bradenton, and one son, Thomas W. Westerling of Chesapeake, Va.
