Deceased Name: WILLIAM E. BERTZ

William E. Bertz, 71, Lexington, Mo ., died Feb. 24, 1991, at Research Medical Center. He was a lifelong Lexington resident. Mr. Bertz worked at the Ford Claycomo assembly plant for 14 years, retiring as a foreman in 1968. He was a field representative for the Missouri Farmers Association, Lexington, from 1969 to 1982. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, Lexington. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Wentworth Country Club, Lexington. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Bertz of the home; a son, William R. Bertz, Odessa, Mo .; five brothers, John K. Bertz, C.R. Bertz, Clyde H. Bertz, Lester L. Bertz and Ralph L. Bert z of Lexington; two sisters, Emily Rhodus, Kearney, and Elizabeth Fenner, Lexington; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Walker-Nadler-Graff Chapel, Lexington; burial in the Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church memorial fund.
