Per his death cert, his body went to Ashton, and was buried 24 Sep 1925. It also lists his first name as "Charlie" - he is found on Federal Census' as Carl and Karol. Rental records were found in the Polish Heritage Center in Ashton which listed his name as Karol as well.

Obituary:
The funeral of Charles Kwiatkowski, who died at the home of his son Peter in Pleasanton, Neb. Wednesday Sept. 23 was held at the St. Mary’s church in Paplin Thursday. Mr. Kwiatkowski was 96 years of age at the time of his death and was one of the earliest settlers of this county living near Ashton for a number of years but of recent years living with his son Peter at Pleasanton. He leaves five children to mourn his death, namely Anton Kwiatkowski and John Kwiatkowski of Ashton, Frank Kwiatkowski and Peter Kwiatkowski of Pleasanton and Mrs. Felix Lesik of Wyoming. A large number of relatives attended the funeral and the body was lain to rest in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Paplin, Rev. Bogaczyk the local pastor conducting the services.
