Keyser, WV—Roy E. Riggleman 71, of HC 75 Box 76, New Creek, died Friday March 14, 1999, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Virginia.
Born October 12, 1927, in Mozer, WV, he was a son of the late Walter and Elsie M. (Greenwalt) Riggleman. He also was preceded in death by a brother Carroll R. Riggleman.
Mrs. Riggleman was a retired professional home builder and contractor. He was self employed and for a number of years worked with L. C. Sines, building many homes through the area. Mr. Riggleman was also a member of the Antioch United Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel A. (Kesner) Riggleman, one step-daughter, Sheri Helbig and husband W. Michael Helbig Sr. Oakland, Maryland, one stepson Randal C. Riggleman, Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Willard Riggleman, Terra Alta, WV and Norris L. Riggleman, Keyser; three step grandchildren, Jared Riggleman, Charles French and Rachale French and several nieces and nephews which includes a special nephew rusty Riggleman of New Creek, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Keyser on Friday, March 19, at 2 p.m with the Rev. tom Anderson and the Rev. Charles "Chip" Leatherman officiating.
Interment will be in the Thrush Cemetery, Antioch, WV
Friends will be received today from 9-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Pallbearers were: Active: Rusty Riggleman, Keith Feaster, Jared Riggleman, Mike Helbig, Dale Kesner and James Evans
