A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home for Frances L. Malzahn, 77, Durant, who died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Rev. Mutt Wallace will officiate.

She was born Monday, Sept. 3, 1928, in Hugo to Milton F. Conley and Nora Lucille (Ridge) Conley. She married Donald Malzahn April 11, 1953, in Durant. She was a longtime resident of Durant and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a major in business and a minor in home economics. She worked as the city clerk of Durant for more than 13 years. She was of the Presbyterian faith and loved her animals, sports and cooking, but most of all she loved and adored her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Pat and Edger Conley, husband's parents Paul Malzahn Sr. and Mary Donnie Malzahn; brother-in-law Paul Malzahn, and sister-in-law Betty Talley.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Durant.

Family will receive friends anytime at the home, located at 1709 Asberry, Durant.
