JACOB WELSHER.
In the demise of this well-known resident of Hartland, which occurred yesterday, at his residence, on the Ridge Road, we have to record the death of another of Niagara county pioneers; one who has held a high place in the hearts of his largo circle of friends and who leaves behind him a mourning family, upon which any patriarch might look with pride. The deceased was summoned to his long home as one who was ready and waiting to go. His age was 79 years, and he leaves behind him an enviable record as a Christian gentleman and a genial friend and neighbor. For thirty years past he has lived in Hartland, and for over fifty years past has been a conscientious and devout member of the Methodist church. He leaves behind him four sons and a daughter, among them being ANDREW, HARRISON and Rev. W. A. WELSHER of Des Moines, and Mrs. W. R. BRONSON of Hartland. The obsequies took place at 12 o'clock today at the Hartland Corners church, the remains being interred at the Skeels cemetery.
