She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Rudolph R. Bodner.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Thompson (Kenneth); a son, Robert Bodner (Nancy); grandchildren, Kenneth Thompson, Michelle Sweeney, Micah Bodner (Penny), and Renee Schoen (Marvin); great-grandchildren, Natalie Thompson, Kenny Nolan Thompson, Christina Bosemer (Wes), Amy Cook, Chelsea Sweeney, Bea Bodner, Emmy Bodner, and Jeremy Shumate; and a great-great-grandson, Austin Mullis.
A celebration of Mrs. Bodner's life will be held noon Saturday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
