A Coggon resident, Cletus Wulfekuhle, 51, was killed about 9 a.m. Sunday when he apparently lost control of the car he was driving on the Ryan-Hopkinton blacktop.

Delaware county sheriffs deputies report Wulfekuhle was thrown from his vehicle upon impact which rolled onto him. He died enroute to the Manchester hospital.

Mr. Wulfekuhle was born Oct. 26, 1923, at Earlville.

He was married to Lois Jerome Nov. 10, 1949.

He served with the U.S. marine corps in World war II. He was a member of St. John's Catholic church and the Coggon American Legion.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Lyle Himes, Central City, and Julie, at home; two grandchildren; his mother, Elizabeth Wulfekuhle, Ryan; and a sister, Henrietta
Nandell, Manchester.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. John P. Fagan at St. John's Catholic church in Coggon. The Legion will conduct graveside services at the Coggon cemetery.Friends may call at the Murdoch chapel in Coggon after 1 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
