F. P. Konen Dies at 68 in Hospital

Ferdinand P. Konen, 68 , Route 2, died at 9:50 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Jan. 2, 1903, In Johnsburg, a son of John and Elizabeth Schmitt Konen. He married Marcella Ott in 1932 and she died in 1952. In 1958 he married Anna Streeter at St Patrick's Church. Mr. Konen was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Holy Name Society of the parish.
He farmed at Brothertown until 1953 when he began employment at Jacob Brenner Co. Surviving are his widow: two sons, Donald of Route 3, Chilton and John at home; a daughter, Mrs. Anthony Winter of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Emil of the city and Clemens of Sheboygan.
In addition to his first wife, Mr. Konen was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery at Jericho. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
