Funeral services for Amelia Patzkowsky were held Tuesday, June 9, in the Fairview Mennonite Church with the Rev. Ernie Friesen and the Rev. Wes Fast officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with the Fairview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Patzkowsky died Saturday, June 6, in the Fairview Fellowship Home. She was 91.
She was born March 25, 1896, at Messer, Russia, to Henry Peter and Anna Marie Lehr Weber.
The family came to the United States in 1903, landing at Galveston, Tex. From there, they moved to Isabella.
She married Samuel E. Patzkowsky on March 11,1905, near Isabella. They retired from farming in 1962 and moved to Fairview.
She was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. Survivors include three sons, Arlo Patzkowsky of Okeene, Sam Patzkowsky of Fairview and Earl Patzkowsky of Balko; two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Eunice) Karber of Perryton, Tex., and Mrs. Erwin (Lavella) Ewald of Fairview; 18 grand-children; 28 great-grand-children, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Brethren Church or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation heart division with the funeral home serving as custodian.
