Elmer Clay Boone, 73, of Belpre, Ohio Rt. 1, died Monday at 10:15 p.m. in Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg, West Virginia. He was born March 26, 1886 in Wood County. W. Va., a son of the late Luther and Rebecca Piersol Boone. He married second Emma Angle who survives. Mr. Boone farmed many years in Belpre, Rt 1. He was a member of Burn Hill Unithed Bretren Church.

Survivors include his wife, eight sons by a previous marriage, Jess, Robert, Lee, Miles, Ray, Luther, George, and Jack, all of Parkersburg; six daughters by a previous marriage, Mrs. Grace Cross of Barberton, Ohio; Mrs Elizabeth Anderson of Wilmington, Calif.; Mrs. Rebecca Flynn, Mrs. Garnet Anderson, and Mrs. Ruby Hayes, all of Parkersburg; and Mrs. Luelva Looney of Vienna, W. Va.; and a sister Mrs. Zanna Foggin of Parkersburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly Ohio with burial in the Beverly Cemetery. The body is at the family home where it will remain until Thursday morning when it will be received by the funeral home.
