William B. Bishop Jr., seventy, of Strasburg Twp., died yesterday at 7:45 a.m. in Lancaster General Hospital. He had been in ill health for some time.
A son of the late William B. and Cora Black Bishop, he was engaged in farming in Strasburg Twp. for many years. He was a member of Strasburg Lodge 361, IOOF; and Strasburg Lodge, Ancient Order, Knights of the Mystic Chain.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Weinhold Bishop, and these children: Harriet R. wife of James Herr, Strasburg; Ruth S., wife of Robert G. Kilheffer, Washington Boro; Eva, wife of Charles J. Wirth, city; Mary S., wife of Willis Wirth Jr., Philadelphia; F. Louise, wife of C. Wilbur Kendig, city; Zelda J., wife of Harry R. Winters, Strasburg; Martha A., wife of Louis D. Schafer; Margaret J., wife of Robert R. Smith, both of Philadelphia; and George D. Bishop, at home; also eight grandchildren.
BISHOP - Entered into rest in this city, on September 4, 1952, William B. Bishop Jr., 71 years of age of Strasburg Township. Private funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from The Bachman Funeral Home, Strasburg. Interment in Strasburg Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
