Beverly Anne Greis, age 52, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, of Hot Springs, died Friday, October 7, 2011.

She was born on May 2, 1959 at Livorno, Italy, the daughter of James Bardwell and Alice Oliver Bardwell. On January 20, 1978, she was married to Donald Greis. She was preceded in death by her mother; one brother, David Bardwell; and her father-in-law, James Greis.

She graduated from Garland County Community College and was a registered nurse at National Park Medical Center, Arkansas Children's Hospital (NICU) and St. Joseph's Mercy Medical Center in the nursery.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Greis of Hot Springs; three daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer Greis of Benton, Laurie and Richard Caldwell of Wynne, and Rachel Greis of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Donny Christian Herron of Benton, Elizabeth Caldwell and Ericka Caldwell both of Wynne, and Jon Eric Greis of Hot Springs; her father and step-mother, James and Nell Bardwell of Arkadelphia; her paternal grandmother, Mary Bardwell of Glenwood; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Candy Bardwell of Kansas City, Missouri and Randy and Margie Bardwell of Seattle, Washington; her mother-in-law, Vonda Greis of Royal; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorial services will held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 10, 2011 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Rev. Bob Clark and Bro. Bill Chesshir officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Susan B. Koman Race for the Cure.
