Funeral services for Joseph G. Holland, 404 Fourth Ave., Ellendale, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 at Cross of Glory Lutheran church in Hartland.
Burial will be in the Hartland cemetery.
Mr. Hollnad died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 1994 at Neave Hospital. He was 87 years old.
Joseph was born in Britt, Iowa on September 26, 1906. The son of Hans and Anna(Ovwig) Holland Sr.
He moved to Hartland at the age of seven.
On September 25, 1926 he married Virginia Weite in New Richland. They farmed near Hartand from 1932 to 1982 when they retired to Ellendale.
He had been a custodian for District 62 school. He was a member of the National Farmers Organization. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia, Three children; Elaine Marlin of Ellendale, Jean Evers (Wilbert) of Yuma, Arizona, Lola Zutz( Edwin) of Kimbal, Minnesota, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, Two sisters; Alice Bartness ( Ellsworth) of Hartand, Helen Carroll (Leonard) of Zumbrota, One brother; Oscar Holland of Hartland.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, One son; Larry Holland in 1980., One daughter; Darlene Hall in 1980, Two brothers; Hans Jr. and Harold, Three sisters; Josephine, Olene and Selma, One granddaughter; Angela Lewis
