On March 17, 1891, he was united in marriage to Mary Felton.
To this union 8 children were born, 6 of whom died in early childhood. The widow and 2 sons (Elijah, Logansport, Ind, and Charles, at home) are left to mourn his departure, with many other relatives and friends.
Bro Godshalk and wife united with the Olive Mennonite Church some years ago and attended as long as health permitted.
The funeral service was held at the Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa, Feb. 19 conducted by C A Shank. Burial in the Olive Cemetery.
