He was born in Poland, Europe and moved to Adams, Mass., in 1913 and moved to this village soon afterward. He married Mary Sobieraj in 1914. Mrs. Hornick died in 1961. He worked in the
carding room at Juilliard and retired in 1950. He was a member of St. Mary's Church.
He leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 8:30 AM Tuesday from the Wolanin Funeral Home, New York Mills and at 9:00 AM from St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in SS Stanislaus & Casimir Cemetery, Whitesboro, NY. Calling hours at the funeral home will be 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM today and tomorrow. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM tomorrow night.
