Kenneth Thomas Broers, age 69, of Yakima, passed away while fishing on the Washougal River at his favorite fishing hole. He was born March 30, 1939 in Wenatchee, WA to parents George and Helen (Keyes) Broers.
Ken served in the U.S. Navy. He retired with Yakima County Public Works in the Engineers Office as a surveyor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harold Broers and sisters, Beverly and Monaletha Broers.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy; a daughter, Donna Broers, Yakima; a son, Donald Broers, Yakima and cousins, Don and his wife Sharon Dow, Terry Keyes and Jerry and his wife Sally Keyes.
