JEFFERSON - Orabelle "Toots" M. Riess, 88, of Jefferson, died on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson.

Born on Sept. 25, 1923, in Ixonia, to Max and Vera (Shears) Draves, she married Lynn Riess on Aug. 31, 1940, in Watertown. He preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1983.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson.

She was employed at Countryside Home (now Alden Estates of Countryside) in Jefferson for many years.

Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn (Ken) Baars of Lodi and Susan (Harvey) Hake of Lowell, Ind.; one son, Donald (Christine) Riess of Fort Atkinson; four granddaughters, Michelle Aumann, Amy Jaramillo, Tracy Friese and Tiffany Veach; three grandsons, Brian and Timothy Ebert, and Craig Riess; three great-granddaughters, Abby Aumann, KateLynn Veach and Allison Jaramillo; six great-grandsons, Jon and Daniel Aumann, Michael Veach, Owen Jaramillo, Garrett Ebert and Elijah Riess; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sons, Roy, Ronald, James, Jerald and Kenny Riess; one daughter, Sharon Riess; two grandsons, Mark and Rusty Riess; five brothers, Arnold, Clarence, Leroy, Merlin and Carlton Draves; and two sisters, Leah Coles and Marilyn Draves.

Funeral services will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, with the Rev. Mark O. Bartsch officiating. Burial will be in Rock River Cemetery in Jefferson.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday after noon until the time of services.

The Olsen Funeral Home in Jefferson is assisting the family.
