Haeberle Max E 1988 Ironton Tribune – (Sunday, Sept. 11, 1988) Max E. Haeberle – Max E. Haeberle, 85, 0f Route 2, Proctorville, died Friday in St. Mary’s Hospital, Huntington, W.Va. He was born Sept. 11, 1903, in Lawrence County, a son of the late Jacob and Clara Oswald Haeberle. He was a retired employee of CSX Transportation Inc. a member and past master of Proctorville Masonic Lodge No. 550 and a member of the Teresa Chapter No. 257 Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church, Proctorville. Survivors include the wife, Rachel Elizabeth Dillon Haeberle; one son, the Rev. John Haeberle of Wheeling, W.Va.; a grandson and two nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Whitaker. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville.
