He was born November 30, 1916, at Hermann, the son of Paul Faerber and wife Clara, nee Mueller.
On May 7, 1946, he was united in marriage to Lorene Clara Baumstark at St. George Church, Hermann.
Mr. Faerber had worked for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
He later owned and operated Hermann Outboard Motor Sales and Service.
In his later years, Mr. Faerber worked as a carpenter in the Hermann area.
He was a member of St. George Church and the Hermann Eagles.
Mr. Faerber was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Olivia Augustine; and two brothers, Raymond and Victor Faerber.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene Clara Faerber, Hermann; two daughters, Linda Kuester and husband Don, Gasconade, and Cathy Hunter and husband Mickey, Jackson, Michigan; two sons, Ron Faerber and wife Susan, Columbia, and Larry Faerber and wife Annie, Hermann; one brother, Robert Faerber and wife June, Hermann; two sisters-in-law, Helen Humm and husband Carl, McKittrick, and Dorothy Baumstark, Chesterfield; one brother-in-law, Norbert Baumstark and wife Rose, Webster Groves; stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Faerber were held Monday, December 31, at St. George Church, Hermann, with Father Ambrose German officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
