Frederick E. Scior, age 77, of Circleville, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center, Columbus. He was born Jan. 21, 1929 in Ironton, OH to the late Fred B. Scior and Mae (Bailey) Scior Ackison. Fred retired from General Electric and had been a Barber for 17 years in Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during Korea and attended the First Baptist Church, Circleville. Preceded in death by his parents step-father Joe Ackison, sister Catherine Shaw. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Marcella M. (Brammer); sons, Jeffrey Scior of Pataskala and Randall Scior of Circleville; daughter, Kristin Scior of Reynoldsburg; grandsons, Joshua and Justin Scior of Circleville; brothers, Don Scior, Ken Ackison, Tom Ackson all of Ironton, and Ralph "Bud" Ackison of Indiana; sister, Freda Ackison of Ironton; also several nieces, nephews; and members of the Brammer, Clay, and DeLong families. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio. A Private Grave Service will be held at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to First Baptist Church, Joy Sunday School Class, 1540 N. Court St., Circleville, OH 43113.
