Vernon 'Fuzz' Rehn

HEYBURN - Vernon "Fuzz" Rehn, 59, of Heyburn, died Wednesday in the Cassia Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

He was born Dec. 4, 1921, at Yale, where he attended schools. He had lived in the Yale area his entire life until his retirement from dry farming in 1977. He married Bernice Behr April 24, 1943, at Paul. They were divorced. He married Karen Holmes at Elko, Nev., March 10, 1970. He served in the Army in Germany during World War II, and was a member of the Burley Elks Lodge and the Horseless Carriage Club.

Surviving are his wife of Heyburn; two sons, Vernon C. Rehn of Twin Falls and Steven R. Rehn of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Roxanne) Marshall of Boise; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Larry (Kerry) Williams of Sublett and Shellie Hayden of Heyburn; a brother, William Rehn of Burley; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Uhl of Heyburn and Mrs. Dennis (Alda) Bolton of Burley; and seven grandchildrne.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, his parents, a brother and two sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Burley First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert L. Bigler officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery with BPOE graveside rites under the direction of Burley Lodge 1384. Friends may call at the Payne Chapel Friday afternoon and evening and at the church one hour prior to services Saturday. The family suggests memorials to the Elks Rehabilitation Hospital.
