Batten; sons, Dennis H. Batten and John M. Batten; daughter, Teresa Griffin; mother, Florence Cassidy; brother, Jimmy W. Cassidy; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, September 21, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, with graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Emmanus Cemetery in St. George, Georgia. Visitation with family from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
