News of Corinth
(Special to The Saratogian.)
Corinth, Jan. 10. —- The funeral of Mrs. Eunice Buckmaster, aged eighty six, who died on Saturday, 6th inst., was held at the residence of her son, R. Buckmaster, on Main street yesterday at 2 p. m. The Rev. Frederick A. Gates, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. George Williams, pastor of the Baptist church, who, with Mrs. Williams, sang the funeral hymns. The bearers were E. G. Perkins, Julius E. Burnham, Jay W. Shultes, and Riley S. Mallery. Out of town relatives present were: Raymond Buckmaster, grandson, of Hartford, Conn.; Mrs. L. N. Kathan, niece, of Schenectady; Mrs. Lillian Kennedy, niece, Saratoga Springs. Interment was in the family plot in Rural cemetery.
