Frederick H. Seyfarth, 83, died Oct. 29, 2011, at the Treasure Coast Hospice Hay-Madeira House, Stuart. He was born in Islip, NY and lived in Hobe Sound for 16 years, coming from his birthplace.

Before retirement, he was a production manager for Fairchild Republic Aircraft in Farmingdale, NY. He also worked for Liberty Aircraft. During World War II, he served in the Navy. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Islip and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City.
