William Martin WILSON, husband of Malinda WIDEMAN, was born March 8, 1839, near Morse Mill in Jefferson County, MO, and died March 18, 1906. (His tombstone at the Bethlehem Cemetery supposedly states he was born on March 18, 1834; a family Bible states March 22, 1840.) He was the seventh child (of 11) born to Jacob Justus WILSON and his first wife, Winnie COUCH whom he married prior to the birth of their first child in 1823. (Jacob had 5 children with his second wife Elizabeth BRINLEY.)
