Phyllis Jean Gunter Gross ,36 of Route 1, Chuckey, died Saturday afternoon as a result of an automobile accident.
Mrs Gross was employed by Tuscarora Plastics,and she was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband one daughter Michelle Gross, two sons: Bobby Joe Gross ; Gary Lynn Gross Jr , and one grandson Ricky David Slemp Jr; all of the home; her mother: Evie Gunter of Greene County : one brother: Paul Gunter of Greene County ; four sisters : Frances Johnson,Wilma Darnell, Janet Stamper,and Virginia Darnell, all of Greene County one half -sister:Charlotte Adkins of Cleveland,Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend Ricky David Slemp .She was preceded in death by fathere Calvin Gunter; and one brother : Terry Gunter. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. this evening at Kiser Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery . The Rev. Roger Gross . the Rev. Tommy Malone, and the Rev.Ken Dyer will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Tim Tweed ,Everette Anderson, Joe Stamper,Gerald Shelton,Ricky Tweed, Junior Skelton,Charles Darnell, and Tommy Skelton.
