Margaret L. Heide

Margaret L. Heide, 87, of 1736 Ferry St., Niles, died Monday at 1:12 a.m. at Pawating Hospital after a year's illness.
She was born Dec. 29, 1895 in Berlin, Germany. She lived in the Niles area for the last 50 years, coming from Chicago. She was a noted Niles artist. She was a member of the Niles Art Guild and the First Baptist Church. She married Fred Heide, who preceded her in death in November 1969.

Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs . Betty Hydorn, of Niles; three sons Vic Hyde of Hawthorne, Fl., Eric Heide of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and Robert Heide of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Helen Fippenger of Chicago, a brother Herbert Hohensee of Chicago; twenty grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, May 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pifer-Smith Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Cunningham of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
