Peggy Ann Hancock, 50, of Elgin, died Oct. 30 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. A reception for family and friends will run from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Elgin Community Center. Loveland Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Peggy was born April 27, 1961, in The Dalles to Duane and Geraldine (Berg) Reineccius. She graduated from The Dalles High School. Peggy was a resident of Elgin and was employed at the Elgin Foodtown grocery store. Peggy loved to ride her horse and care for her dogs. She was a member of the support team for the Elgin Fire Department.
Peggy is survived by her life partner, Ramiro Martinez; two children and their spouses, Jennifer and Bobby Goings of South Carolina and Clifford and Cassandra Hancock of South Carolina; her father, Duane Reineccius of Elgin; and her siblings and their spouses, Rod Reineccius of Salt Lake City, Paul Reineccius of The Dalles, Nancy Hjelm of Elgin, Pat and Stephanie Reineccius Cambridge, Ohio, Jim and Leona Reineccius of Oregon and Jeff Reineccius of Key West, Fla.; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine; her half brother, Alan Otto; and her nephew, Deland Hjelm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to assist the family with funeral expenses in care of Loveland Funeral Chapel.
